RestEasy - Restaurant Helper is a tool that helps restaurant teams keep their hygiene records (temperature logs, cleaning, maintenance, problem reports) and manage staff scheduling, time tracking and absences. Each restaurant using the app remains responsible for the data of its own establishment.

The app does not collect location, contacts or advertising data, and uses no advertising trackers. The camera and photo library are only used when you choose to add a photo.
We do not sell or rent your data to third parties.
Restaurant data is kept as long as the administrator account exists, so that the hygiene register is preserved. When an employee is removed or deletes their account, their personal data (email, password, notification token) is deleted; their name remains attached to the readings they logged, to preserve the integrity of the hygiene register. When the administrator deletes their account, the restaurant and all of its data are permanently deleted.
Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the GDPR, you may request access to, correction of or deletion of your data. You can delete your account directly in the app: Settings → Delete my account. For any other request: matmich.121@gmail.com.
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Access is separated per restaurant and limited by role (administrator / manager / employee) and by location at the database level; personal and HR details are not visible to colleagues. Temperature logs cannot be edited once recorded.
RestEasy is intended for professional use and is not directed at children.
